This is a collection of original large abstract expressionist style paintings by Suzanne Vaughan. Layers of acrylic paint are applied to the canvas in free gestural marks with palette knives and other tools to create a dynamic textured surface. With multiple applications each layer interacts with the previous building a complex texture suggestive of natural organic elements.
